4 days to go

I've decided that I will indeed write a blog during this next year that I'm abroad. I won't promise a weekly update, but I will write a blogpost when I feel like it haha.

4 more days to go until I'll be on the plane to Santiago. 18 hours and 20 minutes on a plane, stopping in Buenos Aires to get fuel but staying seated that entire team. Hopefully this will fly by...

The last weekend was full of goodbyes with friends and family, definitely makes it more real about really going. I've posted some photos of these goodbyes beneath.

How I feel about going away?
I just feel a bit strange really... I would love to be very enthusiastic and shout out, I can't wait! but realistically there is this one person which stops me from doing that, Philip. It's so strange that one person can just make such a difference as currently I cannot imagine what it will be like to not see each other frequently throughout a week and to not be able to hold each other etc. These next few months will definitely be hard, but I really believe we will be okay! So yes like I said not counting down the days with excitement, but definitely curious as to what it all will be like and looking forward to the experience!

These next few days will include some quality time with some last few people and then at 21:05 on Friday, I will be leaving Amsterdam and be on the plane to Santiago.
